I spent the first 40 years of my life in Poland where I worked as a kindergarten and elementary teacher as well as a folklore dance instructor and choreographer.
I came to Canada 18 years ago. In Edmonton, I obtained a degree in Human Service Administration. This helped me in my volunteer sector work as past Secretary for the Polish Congress, Edmonton Branch (an umbrella to 28 organizations in Edmonton). I also established "Club of Seven Continents" to support immigrant families, helping them integrate into the community. I currently hold an executive position as convener for Education and Health with the Catholic Women’s League of Canada (CWL) Kindersley branch and run a successful Group Family Day Home in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
