The questions of what a family resource program is and what principles guide the conduct of family resource work were at the heart of a national research project started by FRP Canada in December 1999 titled "Building Capacity and Quality Practice Sharing". For years, the work of defining family support had been the subject of meetings, regional consultations, symposia, literature reviews, working definitions, revised drafts.
The family support approach is captured in these foundational documents that were products of this project..
