DEADLINE: 5:00 p.m. your local time on Friday, 13 June, 2014
The FRP Canada Board of Directors is your board. Please consider this call for nominations carefully.
It is a privilege and a responsibility of members to nominate and elect individuals who are committed to family support and have a vision of FRP Canada's role in the field.
Please review the requirements for serving on FRP Canada's Board of Directors in the nominations package and consider nominating a leader in the family support field in your province.
Only current members of FRP Canada may nominate or be nominated and no member may nominate more than one nominee. Both the nominator and the nominee must reside in the province where the position exists.
Candidates must be willing to sit on the Board for a minimum two-year term beginning October 2014 and be willing to travel and meet on weekends. They must not be in conflict of interest. Board members can expect to devote several hours per week to the association’s work and to participate in committee work as part of their Board commitments. Prospective candidates and nominators should review the checklist in the nomination kit carefully to determine suitability.
The FRP Canada Board of Directors is comprised of one member per province, nominated and elected by members in that province. Additional members may be appointed according to the bylaws and as need dictates. Vacancies exist in the following provinces:
